Substitute midwifes
As a midwifery practice, we are reachable and available 365 days a year, 7 days a week, and 24 hours a day.
Due to holidays, leave, and further training, it is not always possible to achieve this with the permanent team. Therefore, our team is supplemented by locum midwives. They are dedicated midwives who will fully commit to providing excellent guidance during your pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum period.

We regularly supervise midwifery students. This ranges from first-year students who mainly observe and only perform minor procedures themselves, to fourth-year students who work almost entirely independently.
We would greatly appreciate it if you would contribute to their training by allowing them to be present at your check-ups, delivery, and postpartum period. There is always a midwife from De Kern providing supervision.
